I have had the pleasure of receiving a few Technic products from Lovethymakeup.com. For those who haven’t heard of Technic, it is an affordable brand which offers a large range of cosmetics. The one thing I’ve learned about Technic products whilst using them is that they’re so pigmented and definitely worth the purchase. Here are some pictures and swatches of each of the products i have received, and what i thought of each one;
Define & Highlight Contour Kit: This product can come in 3 different colour shades; Cappuccino, Caramel and Mocha. I received the Mocha shade, which actually does work well for contorting my skin tone. The colours are very pigmented as you can see from the swatches, and the highlight has a gorgeous shimmer to it. The good thing about this product is that it is 2 in one, so you get a highlight and a bronzer which is fabulous. This product is currently £3.49, which is a brilliant price for 2 amazing pigmented products.
Get Gorgeous Bronzing Highlighter: The name of this product really suits it, as it is indeed gorgeous! This highlighter can honestly compete with high end brands as again it is so pigmented, and is just a stunning highlighter. Although i do find this highlighter works best when my skin is darker, for example when i have used fake tan or for a night out. I wouldn’t use this as an everyday look as it is too bold and is more for a statement look. Although the product is beautiful to look at and works brilliantly for a night out. Technic do offer different shades of highlighters, but this particular one is £3.49.
Pro Eye Shadow Blending Brush: This brush does exactly what it says, it is a fabulous blending brush. It blends eyeshadow to perfection, and the hairs are so soft and fluffy. None of the hairs fall out whist using and the colour of the brush is a gorgeous coral colour. All the brush hair is synthetic, and to keep the brush in a good condition you have to make sure you gently wash it in warm soapy water and allow to dry naturally. This brush is currently £3.99.
Foundation Sponge: For some reason i am not able to find this product on the website so I’m not able to attach a link or tell you the price. This foundation sponge is identical to the beauty blender, but i believe this sponge has got to be more affordable as Technic is such an affordable brand. The sponge is very soft, and instead of using it to apply foundation i use it to blend in my concealer. It’s a gorgeous coral colour and the indent in the sponge makes it easier to hold whilst using. It’s a brilliant dupe to the beauty blender.
Vitamin E Lipstick: The colour of this lipstick is called “Bare”. It is a gorgeous pink colour and does in-fact contain Vitamin E. This lipstick isn’t matte and doesn’t dry up at all. It actually hydrates my lips and makes them feel soft all day, and I’m pretty sure that’s because of the added vitamin E. This lipstick is an affordable £1.99, which is so good considering how good the lipstick feels on my lips. Although two bad point are that it does transfer and you also have to re-apply throughout the day as the colour does fade. But on the plus side the lipstick smells gorgeous!
Correct & Contour: This product is designed to help you colour match your skin by concealing, correcting and contouring. There are 7 shades to choose from in the set, which means you can cover up spots, even imperfections and accentuate your best features in a flash. You can use the colours on their own or combine them to create the ideal tone for your skin. There are 3 coloured concealer shades; lilac, green and yellow. There is one silver shimmer highlight shade, and 3 contour shades. The lilac colour correcting shade is used to eliminate any unwanted yellow undertones on your skin, and also adds a beautiful glow to your skin. The green colour correcting shade is used to neutralizes the colour red, which is why the green concealer is used for getting rid of redness in your face… for example to remove redness from an annoying spot or even acne. The yellow colour correcting shade is perfect for hiding under eye circles, veins and even bruises. They are also brilliant for evening out skin tone to give a bright base for your foundation. The shimmer highlight shade is best used on your upper cheek bones, inner corners of your eyes to make you look more awake, under your brow bone, down the middle of your nose and on your cupids bow. I’ve found that all of these colours are very pigmented, and do exactly what they are supposed to do. This is the first time I’ve used colour correcting and I’m honestly so pleased with the outcome, I’m surprised that i haven’t done this before. Such a fabulous product, and is currently only £4 on the website.
Mega Nudes 4 Eyeshadow Palette: On the website i can only see the Mega Nude Eyeshadow palettes go up to 3, so this must be either a new one or limited edition as i can’t seem to find it anywhere. Although what i can say about this palette is that the colours are so good. Im honestly in love with each and every colour, and as you can see from the swatches the colours are all so pigmented. However the lighter shades are quite hard to see, but in person you can definitely see it more than you can on the picture. The great thing about this palette is that there are some glitter shades, and some matte. All the colours work together brilliantly, and the glitter colours also look brilliant on their own. They blend perfectly and their is no cons about the palette. Except the applicator that comes with it is quite crap, as it is just sponge on each side. I find applying with a brush is much better. The other Mega Nude Palettes are £5, so I’m guessing this one is the same.
Fair Nail Varnish: This shade is quite neutral and quite sheer. I find that it needs a few coats for it to look good. Nudes are in right now, and this fits in perfectly with that category. It’s brilliant for an everyday nail look, and I’ve also had a few compliments at work using this as they said it’s a unique pale colour. I love it, but would prefer it if you didn’t have to do more than one coat. This nail varnish is £1.99 and is good for value.
Overall I love this brand, and definitely would purchase more products in the near future. The best thing about this brand is that all the products are so affordable yet are so high quality. I am actually surprised at how good all the products are, and this brand definitely does need to be noticed! Make sure you check out Technic Cosmetics, and let me know if you already own, or are thinking of buying some products! Thanks for reading girlies☺️✨
